Macao Public Sports Park will be developed in stages

The Macao SAR Government recently announced that a public sports park will be built on the original site of Yiyuan Running Dog Stadium. The project will be developed in stages. The construction scope of the first phase will not affect the use of the original sports field and Lianfeng Sports Center as much as possible.

The sports park covers an area of about 40,425 square meters, with 4 major venues, an outdoor track and field, and a public parking lot on the first floor of the basement, providing about 490 parking spaces and motorcycle parking spaces.

Hall 1 is located in the center of the venue, with four floors high. It is planned to have a swimming pool and a swimming pool, a basketball court, a jogging track and a children's cycling track.

Hall 2 is located in the north of the venue, with a six-storey building. It is planned to have a skateboard field, a table tennis court, rock climbing, a volleyball court and a two-storey badminton court.

Hall 3 is located next to Hall 2. The building is five floors high. It is planned to have a five-person football field, a two-storey multi-functional hall, a multi-functional activity room and outdoor activity space.

The children's hall is located in the south of the venue, with four floors high. It is planned to have a children's outdoor activity area, an indoor children's play area, a creative classroom, a reading area, etc. The basement layer is a functional space such as activity room and storage space. The outdoor track and field is located on the east side of Hall 1, and there is a one-floor public parking lot on the basement floor. The project is designed by P&T Architects (Macau) Co Ltd.
