An integrated Common Data Environment, is desperately needed throughout the whole life-cycle of a built asset, starting from the conceptual stage, to design, construction, maintenance and FM. The keys to success are ‘integrated’ and ‘single source of truth’, let's look beyond Design and Construction and focus on the future, while I am talking about 50 years or more of the asset life-cycle. We shall recognise the long term benefits.”
