An integrated Common Data Environment, is desperately needed throughout the whole life-cycle of a built asset, starting from the conceptual stage, to design, construction, maintenance and FM. The keys to success are ‘integrated’ and ‘single source of truth’, let's look beyond Design and Construction and focus on the future, while I am talking about 50 years or more of the asset life-cycle. We shall recognise the long term benefits.”
Data Environment (CDE), construction digitalisation expert Mr Mark Enzer showed audience the benefits of construction digitalisation and CDE as well as strategies for transformation; data insights expert Mr James Burt explored how to unlock value from Common Data Environment while information management specialist Mr Malcolm Taylor shared his vast experience in construction digitalisation of transportation infrastructure.
