A site at the Peak in the 2020-21 Land Sale Programme will be sold by public tender, the Lands Department announced today. Rural Building Lot No. 1211, at Nos. 2, 4, 6 and 8 Mansfield Road, is designated for private residential purposes. It has a site area of 12,531 sq m with a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 14,456 sq m and 24,093 sq m. The tender invitation for the lot will open on November 20 and close on December 18. The land sale documents will be available online from November 20.
     The Buildings Department approved 23 building plans in September - three on Hong Kong Island, six in Kowloon and 14 in the New Territories. Of the approved plans, four were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, five were for commercial developments, five were for factory and industrial developments, and nine were for community services developments.
     Consent was given for works to start on 13 building projects which will provide 94,220 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 2,252 units, and 554,429 sq m for non-domestic use. The department also issued 21 occupation permits - three on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and 16 in the New Territories. Buildings certified for occupation have 21,956 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 612 units, and 94,586 sq m for non-domestic use.
