The tender for a Sha Tin site has been awarded on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $5.6 billion, the Lands Department announced on July 8. Sha Tin Town Lot No. 613 at the junction of Tsung Tau Ha Road and Kwei Tei Street was awarded to Data Zone Company Limited, a subsidiary of CMCC Infrastructure Holdings Limited. It has a site area of about 9,178 sq m and is designated for industrial purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 52,315 sq m and 87,191 sq m, both including the gross floor area of the public vehicle park to be constructed by the purchaser under the conditions of sale.
     A Sai Kung site in the 2020-21 Land Sale Programme will be sold by public tender, the Lands Department announced on July 17. Lot No. 1003 in Demarcation District No. 214 at Hiram's Highway near Heung Chung Road, Ho Chung, is designated for private residential purposes. It has a site area of 3,563 sq m with a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 3,207 sq m and 5,344 sq m. The tender invitation for the lot will open on July 24 and close on August 21.
