2 Tin Shui Wai sites tendered
Tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $4.189 billion, the Lands Department announced on July 9.
Tin Shui Wai Town Lot No. 33 was awarded to Jet Group for $2.221 billion. It has a site area of 75,500 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel, office and petrol station) purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 67,950 and 113,250 sq m. The developer must build at least 1,330 units.
Tin Shui Wai Town Lot No. 34 was awarded to Pacific Gold for $1.968 billion. It has a site area of 64,400 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel, office and petrol station) purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 57,960 and 96,600 sq m. The developer must build at least 1,140 units.
The parent company of Jet Group and Pacific Gold is Sun Hung Kai Properties.
The Buildings Department also announced the approval of 12 building plans in May - five on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and five in the New Territories.
Four were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, four were for commercial developments, and four were for community-services developments.
Consent was given for work to start on 18 building projects that, when completed, will provide 53,099 square metres of GFA for domestic use, involving 295 units, and 153,471 sq m of GFA for non-domestic use.
The department also received notification of the start of work on eight building projects.
It issued 12 occupation permits - three on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and seven in the New Territories.
The buildings certified for occupation have 14,179 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use, involving 334 units, and 42,963 sq m for non-domestic use.
The declared cost of new buildings completed in May totalled $1.2 billion.
