Interview: Mr Andrew Keung, Project Director, Paul Y. Yau Lee Joint Venture

Yau Lee Joint Venture is just like watching the young

eagle spreading its wings to take its maiden flight.

n 2012, as a consultant to Paul Y. Engineering, Mr Andrew
Keung assisted the company in bidding the construction
Itender for Studio City, Macau. It was in October, the same
year that the Joint Venture company (JV) won the contract.
Subsequently, Mr Keung was appointed by the JV as Project
Director of the Studio City project. Fully supported by his
family, Mr Keung took up the job and based in Macau to take
charge of the HK$10 billion mega entertainment, hotel and
resort project. The main contract officially started on October
29, 2012.
When the JV took possession of the site, the piling works
was still on-going. As specified in the tender the JV had to
